February 4th, 2008 by Morgan

For the past four nights, all I have been hearing is some one banging on the walls or some door in Freiburger. Its 1 in the morning! Go to sleep! How am I supposed to sleep with people banging down walls in the middle of the night???

And what happened to the hot water????

I feel like my building has been flipped upside down!

Farwell to TJ

January 25th, 2008 by Morgan

Today is TJ’s last day at Lynn. He was the RD in Freiburger which is where I live and so its a very emotional day for a lot of us here. Not only is he loved by pretty much every one on campus, he has done a lot for the students in Freiburger. He always has time to listen to us which I know I am going to miss. Ask anyone and they only have kind words to say about TJ.

So pretty much Freiburger is in mourning at the moment over the loss of the greatest RD ever. Joel is going to have some mighty big shoes to fill. Poor TJ can’t get a break, people are at his door 24/7 now trying to get in their good byes in between classes.

I went to say my good byes last night which was sad but funny. So this is my way of saying, thank you TJ for all your help in the past few months. Good luck in the future and don’t forget us here at Lynn!

TJ! The greatest RD ever!

Wet Paint

January 25th, 2008 by Morgan

Of course, yestorday some one was painting and did not put any signs up in the dorms of where they had painted and I got paint all over my hoody on my way down the stairs. Err. I am so irked! How was I supposed to know that the guy had done all the walls already? A sign would have been nice!

Back at Lynn

January 15th, 2008 by Morgan

I am thrilled to be back at Lynn. I had no clue how much I missed being here. Yestorday was my first day of classes and it was probably my best day at Lynn. Seeing my friends again and starting new and exciting classes was a rush. There were people screaming, running, and  hugging all over the place.

Before we got back, I had made some plans with my friends to go to a Comedy Central Concert that was at FAU. The tickets were free, we just needed them. After classes, we drove over to FAU to pick some up, but we could not find the place to buy them. I kept asking my friends to stop some one who was walking and ask them where the building was. Finally, after about 10 minutes of me asking, Dee askes this girl and to our surprise it went wonderfully in our favor. We asked her where the buildingn was and she asked how many tickets we needed since she was not going to go, we told her we needed six and she said, well I have just that, six. It was perfect! We never had to get out of the car. Cristina called it drive through ticket pick up. Lol. It must have just been our lucky day.

It ended up being, me, Cristina, Dee, Eric, and Mike. The concert made us laugh so hard, some of us were crying. Parking was horrible but it was worth it since I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. We laughed for so long and so hard that I couldn’t talk for a while.

Then we rushed back to school for blingo. None of us won but it was still a lot of fun and we were still on some kind of happy high that we didn’t care.

I am just so happy to be back at Lynn! I got to chill with my friends, who are funny and crazy but I love them dearly. I wouldn’t have half as much fun without them!

I feel like I am at home once again. I missed the beautiful campus, my room, my friends, my sisters, and just my life here in Boca Raton and at Lynn. Ahhh, back to normal.

Now I am just broke. My stupid books cost something like $550.

Cleaning lady going through the trash

December 10th, 2007 by Morgan

This morning, when I was on my way to my exam, I saw the cleaning lady going through the trash. It freaked me out, and I probably wouldn’t have given it a second thought if it wasn’t for the fact that the bag of trash she was going through was mine.

I wanted to say something but then I didn’t want to be late for my exam. I kind of felt it was an invasion of my privicy, plus, scary, and gross. I kind of wanted to tell her off for going through my trash. She was examning every piece of it! It was seriously creepy!

Dirty Clothes

December 10th, 2007 by Morgan

This weekend I washed all of my clothes. Why you ask did I wash all of them? Because they ended up in the dirty laundry bag but I haven’t had time to wash clothes in weeks. I wore everything I had until I had nothing left. I had to wash clothes.

Well, since I waited so long, the bag came up to my uppper arm! It was crazy. Eric was out with his sister, Rob was setting up the ZBT pool party, and so it came down to me and Cristina dragging that sucker over to the laundry room. Ick. It was horrible! Us trying to carry it to the stairs was a nightmare. By the time we got to the edge, I was like lets just push it down. I kicked it all the way down and we dragged it out the door. We got as far as the pathway across the tennis courts before Cristina started cursing out Rob. Lol. It was funny to watch. She marched over to get him since he was at the pool and while she was gone, one of the guards drove by on a golf cart, stopped turned around, and came back. He asked if I needed help, I said yes. I told him where I was going and drove me the rest of the way there. I was so grateful!

I got my car for the way back. I started taking it all in small loads when they finished drying and going back and forth. Now I have a ton of clean clothes, just in time to pack them all up and go home on friday!

And thank goodness for sisters! Lee and Shelby helped me with my 20 laundry questions. One of the perks of having so many sisters, they are everywhere and they know a ton of stuff!

*giggles* If Cristina throws one more pillow to the floor, I am going to have to walk through a maze to get out of here in the morning!

Stress

December 1st, 2007 by Morgan

Its late at night and I am still up although I have a ton of stuff to do tomorrow plus the Gala.

Rob came over after we went for a walk and I put on music and started dancing. He just shook his head and called me a freak. lol. Aparently me busting out moves is random to him.

I was talking to my little bro online, he was sending me to bed! Hehe.

So Rob ate my M&M’s and I was dancing to the song “My Love is like Woah” by Mya. He just thought I had lost my mind. I was stressed and needed music.

Oh ya, Cristina and I had a girls night tonight. It was great. I bought my dress for the Gala, its black. Rob was trying to get through the bag to see it but gave up and said he would rather just be surprised than put the effort into fighting the bag. lol. Cristina and I went to see “This Christmas” with Chris Brown. We were two 7th graders in there. lol. The movie was funny and touching. It was the second time I saw it and I could see it again!

Now that Rob went to this room to go to sleep, I can dance as crazy as I want in my PJ’s. Its my room so my dance moves stay!(or would that be move/go? Hmmm…) What ever, my room, my rules.
