The Naked Roommate

October 22nd, 2007 at 9:28 am by Jana

Someone (I believe it was our very own Anthony Bosio, who makes our blogs possible) just returned the funniest book to the library. It’s called The Naked Roommate: And 107 Other Issues You Might Run Into in College. It’s by Harlan Cohen, an author and advice columnist. I was caught by the title and started flipping through it. It offers great advice about not only roommates, but also food, money, drinking/drugs, finding friends, getting involved, relationships, sex, the classroom…the list goes on. It struck me how useful this could be for anyone on campus, especially freshmen. It’s filled with humor, true stories, quotes (even one from a student from Lynn, I noticed), and the 107 tips. If you’re interested, you should definitely check it out. It’s worth it.

Sorry Jana. It wasn’t me. :-)

As someone who’s entire group of friends work for the Palm Beach County Library system, I’d have to “tsk, tsk, tsk” you for intending to “out” someone’s reading since librarians are famously dedicated to our right to privacy. But it does make me wonder if there is another Bosio on campus or what could have caused the mixup.

Coincidentally, I did just see that book on display at the bookstore and agree that it looks pretty amusing.

Oops, sorry, I forgot the whole privacy thing. I’m gonna have to get a handle on that. Maybe I just thought it was you because you’re always walking by and I just got you confused. I don’t know.

I must have a twin. I’m never at the libray. I was there on the second floor one day last week. First time I was over there in months. I should probably go over more. I know there are some great dvds I should check out.
