I was reading a book and there was something in it about eggs and a thought occurred to me. What happens to an egg when you boil it for too long? I’ve never done it, and I don’t have a stove handy to attempt it at the moment, but I’d really like to know. My friend Erika says they taste really bad, but does the egg shell crack or get harder or does the thing explode in the pot? If anyone knows, please tell me!

    Well, I believe the egg cracks and the egg white sorta leaks through and creates sorta growths on the egg….I actually don’t know if the egg being over cooked is teh reason for it cracking, but i do know this is what happens when it is cracked.
