Congratulations, Grads!

Graduation day is here. To all those graduating tonight and tomorrow, congratulations and good luck. I just wanted to add another “grad you should know” that I heard from through  news at lynn.edu. Rhonda won’t be joining her fellow graduates, since she is already back up in Michigan, but I think it’s worth sharing her e-mail about what her college education at Lynn meant to her.

“I was a night student here at Lynn. I live in Michigan so I am not able to go to the graduation on the 9th. I wanted to come a meet everyone that has help me along the way to fulfill my dream of graduating. I Would like to thank my Professors, advisers, the staff and even the lady that answers the phone. She helped me so much, when I did not have a name or I did not know who I needed to talk to, she always put me through to the right person. Not only did I graduate but my GPA was 3.5, I made the deans list, and received a Cum Luda metal. Not bad for a dyslexic, disabled person. I know that if I can do it, anyone can do it. Thanks to Lynn I now have confidence and the knowledge to continue my education, as I am now working on my Masters degree.”
