Grad photos – see them and send some
Last graduation post of the year for Knight Writer. That’s a promise!
Our parting post… big pictures, little words. A good combination, I’m sure you’ll agree. Readers, if you have some photos of your own, please send them along to news@lynn.edu. We’d love to have them for myLynn.
Above are friends, College of International Communication honor students, marketing employees, and former/current bloggers Ashlea Evans and Laura Vann. With her degree in hand, Laura starts May 19 as a full fledged Lynn employee – our office’s new Media Relations Specialist. In addition to blogging, Ashlea oversees the office’s blogging program, social media marketing efforts and other projects. She’s sticking around through the fall as she pursues her grad degree in CIC.
Marvin Miller, our oldest graduate, after receiving his Ph.D. hood from advisor and friend Dr. Ralph Norcio (last year’s prof of the year winner). See more about Marvin in my earlier post. He got quite a reception… and you can see on his face that he enjoyed it.
Here Jacqueline Munoz looks at her son, Maximiliano Munoz, while his father Mam Munoz looks on in the de Hoernle Center.

Oh my gosh, I know those lovely ladies! I’m so proud of them too!
My fellow bloggers! It’s wonderful seeing them in their cap and gowns.
Well done! CONGRATULATIONS to ALL Grads!
Hey young Grads
good show I say
you’ve done it now
you’ve showed us how
You’ve had some good times
You’ve made some good friends
now some will go off
to do it again
So good luck in college
You can do it
Have a real wild time
but don’t over do it
Try to make friends fast
many of the early ones
will be the ones
who last
Unless you love
to get up early
don’t schedule your classes
way too early
And try to get to class
as much as you can
you’ll be glad you did
then you’ll deserve a cold can
But try not to party
too much before class
you’ll more likely attend
and you won’t be an ass
If you fail the easy Calc
don’t take the harder one
just keep your eye on the ball
between all the fun
You’ll be entering
sort of a fantasy land
of reading, writing, and thinking
with those who can lend a hand
So, do your best with grades
but at least finish the task
and soon another graduation
will come at last…
So
CONGRATULATIONS
GOOD LUCK
and HAVE FUN!!!
