It May be Cold Today, but Spring is in the Air

by Debbie | March 3, 2009

Hear that? It’s the sounds of silence. Students are on Spring Break this week which means the campus is bustling with inactivity; lines at the caf are short, and it might be a good chance to get caught up on all that paperwork that’s been piling up … The days are about to get longer. Time to set your clocks ahead an hour (spring ahead) for Daylight Savings Time on Sunday at 2 a.m. (or before you go to bed Saturday night) … So, it’s Spring Break, Spring Ahead and let’s not forget Spring Training. If you can’t get to Jupiter or Fort Myers for Major League team training, you can always get your fix by cheering on our own Fighting Knights baseball team.

If the above sounds familiar, you’re probably a Lynn faculty or staff member, since you would have read it in the brief Seen & Heard column I write for the Lynn Minute, a new electronic “product” from the Marketing Department with news and information about Lynn “all under one roof.”
