1st RA Program
Â
Ray and I had our first RA program…I am definitely a little behind this year. I will be stepping it up a notch in October. Tonight’s program was open to the entire building. We did a pool tournament on the fourth floor and the winner received $50. We had over 15 people show up and want to play. It was intense in the beginning. The program started at 7pm and lasted until 9:45pm. I was supposed to have an online meeting for the National Board of NACURH (National Association of College and University Residence Halls), the largest student run organization. I am the Associate Director for Business and Administration for the SAACURH (South Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls), but the internet never works in the building. It is supposed to be wireless and I can never use wireless in my room and even when I connect to the Ethernet I still receive LOW CONNECTIVITY…these are the times when I wish I was an RA in my old building, Lynn. The air conditioning worked great and the internet was amazing. Anyways…once my program was over I got ready for my last night at the Resort at Singer Island.

Did I mention I am proud of you! MIss you DODO. My RAs always ask who the people are in the picture on my book shelf and I proudly say my RHA crew at Lynn.
Pool programs are cool! Have people done halo or madden tourney’s? Those are big here! O and how about you come here to hold a conference for my hall council members…they need some dodo guidance
What do you think would be a good prize that is low in cost?
