Cafeteria Becomes Chaotic
So the cafeteria is new and improved. It has an additional grille station, a waffle station, and the chop salad/pizza/Panini station has been centralized. It has created a more open space in the cafeteria, but lunch today was ridiculous.
It was noon time and it was raining outside which probably increased the amount of people wanting to eat at that time, but it was chaos. The new set up has created mass confusion of where lines begin and end. I thought I was in the burger line, but apparently it was the burrito line that was backed up. The flow in the cafeteria was very confusing
I think I am going to see if SGA can evaluate possible set up arrangements of lines and how to facilitate a better flow during dining hours. The cafeteria has created a new expansion that is great; a way to make it be successful just needs to be discovered. If you have an idea of how to improve it, let SGA know…
