Lady Crashes the Shopping Cart Train

Joy, Tova, and I had stopped at Walmart before going to West Palm Beach to pick up the van for the FARH (Florida Association of Residence Halls) conference this upcoming weekend. When we entered Walmart it was chaotic. People going in every direction and every which way. You seriously had to dodge, duck, dip, and dive to get through without being hit by someone.

When we exited Walmart there was a huge scene going on in the aisle of where my car was. It was no surprise to me considering anytime we go to Walmart or Costco there is a fight for carts, food, and parking spaces. Today’s situation was a little different. The Walmart employee had the train of shopping carts that he was pushing back to the store. Some lady backed right up into his train. Both individuals were furious.

The worked yelled, “Don’t you look before you back up?” With no hesitation the lady responded, “I did and you weren’t there.” The worker at that point began to raise his voice and began to yelled. This lady, not fathomed in the least about the situation told him to stop yelling. I walked by and said in a pleasant manner, “Happy Valentine’s Day to you both!” On a day of care, love, passion, and thanks; individuals still find anger and resentment.
