KAT HoeDown
Funnel cakes, create your own candy apples, old time photos, and ten flavors of soda pop surrounded the caf patio tonight for our Annual KAT HoeDown. It was amazing. Entering this weekend, KAT is lined up for several events and this kicks it off. An amazing attendance of 393 people came out to the HoeDown today. It was spectacular. It gave students the amazing opportunity to hang out, listen to music, grab some dinner, and just relax. I changed things up this year by creating more of a festival environment. STUDENTS LOVED IT! I was walking into my residence hall when I overheard students talking to family or friends from home about how great it was. This is what inspires me to program for students and truly get students more involved in campus activities.

I love the Hoe down. When I lived on campus, I went every year. It was always such fun! Mostly, I liked the old time photos… still have mine!
