Mark, Jen, Taryn, Mike and I went down to FIU tonight to check out their concert. Tonight is the first show of the tour. Crocs NextStep Campus Tour Featuring One Republic and Special Guest Fabolous was booked through Adam Tobey from Concert Ideas. Jen and I have been talking to Adam since the Fall and it was nice to finally put a voice with a face.

This concert is going to be amazing. Going down to FIU we were able to see what was going well, what we would do different, where the kinks were, and the logistics on how we would set it up on the Intramural Field. This would be the first outdoor concert. We realized that FIU had some problems with the stage production company which we were originally going to book.

The tour comes along with Guitar Hero and Rock Band stations for students to try. There is also a booth for students to turn in their license in exchange they are able to wear crocs throughout the concert to see what they think.

The Crocs Next Step Campus Tour is proud to be supporting SolesUnitedSM, the first-of-its-kind, recycled footwear donation program dedicated to providing new quality footwear to people in need worldwide. On each tour stop, donation stations will be set up so students can turn in their worn out Crocsâ„¢ shoes. Through the SolesUnitedSM recycling process, donated Crocsâ„¢ shoes are sorted, cleaned, ground into new material and manufactured into new recycled shoes. Once manufactured, the shoes are distributed to those in need with the support of SolesUnitedSM shipping and charity partners.

I am so excited. I really want a huge attendance. We are looking to publicize all around the community to increase awareness. Check out the sneak peak video.
