Lynn University RA Challenge: Battle of the Buildings

So you think you have talent….you think you have skill…then you should have come out to compete in RA Challenge today. This is my third year participating in RA Challenge, once as a resident and twice as an RA. There is no other competition based program on campus that drives motivation, determination, and team work than this.

The series of events were:

  1. Relay Race
  2. Dizzy Bat
  3. Egg Toss
  4. Water Balloon Drop
  5. Canoe Race
  6. Watermellon Swim

Megan Perry and I participated in the canoe race together and smoked the other team. Meg and Joy were canoing next to us as the RD (Resident Director ) team and Megan and I were on the RA (Resident Assistant) team. We had done this before so it was no problem. Joel and Victoria capsized on the second trip around the lake. It was hilarious as they stepped out to see them drenched in lake water.

The Watermellon Swim was the funniest, not really the event, but the after-effects of tossing Jeff and Meg into the pool. As Jeff stepped up the pool ladder and came out of the pool, he reached into his pocket…his Palm Treo. The fun didn’t end there, after Gene toss me backwards into the pool. Check it out:
