Airplane Ride to Houston

Anytime I book a coach flight anywhere, I try my best to get the exit row. I got onto the Continental flight and was surprisingly happy to see I was in the first row immediately upon entering the plane. They were just about to close the door and I was excited to see that no one was sitting in our middle seat…

However, for things to be going this great for me is really unexpected. Just before closing, a man ran on with his coffee in his hand, bagel, cream cheese, and bags with stuff hanging out of everywhere. He sat down immediately and flipped open his tray. The flight attendant asked him to put his tray back and he replied, “…in five minutes.” She then replied,”You must put it away, we are pushing off.”

He packed it up and then put it on the floor. We were in the emergency floor and nothing could be in the aisle. He wouldn’t take it out of the aisle. He was given the choice to either put it in his lap or have her take care of it. He gave it to her and it went in the trash. She took care of it because he asked her too. Furious because he didn’t know that she was “taking care of it”, he asked her to get it from the trash. UGH!!! That was just the beginning of his inconvenience on the flight.

Midway through the flight my arm was feeling sticky. HE HAD GOTTEN CREAM CHEESE ALL ON THE INSIDE OF MY CHAIR. How do you do that?
