Wicked
Since the day I began work at USD, Jonnie, Bryana, and I shared an office. Jonnie and Bryana, since day one, have been singing songs from the Wicked soundtrack. Jonnie and I left work at noon today to go to Los Angeles to meet up with Kelsey and Elise. We got dinner at California Pizza Kitchen and then headed to downtown Los Angeles to see Wicked. I have never been to Los Angeles before. We went on Hollywood Blvd. The sidewalks had the gold stars of all kinds of movie stars. We saw the Hollywood sign in the hills…I was pretty amazed. Like most people say Hollywood isn’t as glamorous as it is made out to be in movies, but it was neat to see.
Wicked was amazing. We had seats in the mezzanine on the left side. The show was outstanding. All the songs that Jonnie and Bryana have been singing in the office finally made sense. The actress that played Alhaba was the understudy and she was unbelievable. She was a very strong talented actress.
We finally got home at 1:30am….AMAZING!!!
