KOR Coffee in the Courtyard
…its 1:43pm and Coffee in the Courtyard is at 3:00pm…at this point in time we don’t have coffee or refreshments. With all the hype and dedication towards the KOR Gala on Saturday this event completely slipped our minds. I picked up Jen from the airport last night and she said, “Did it dawn on you that we have a coffee in the courtyard tomorrow?” We have spent so much time preparing the Masquerade for Gala, we had forgotten our monthly event….but we couldn’t let it slip..
Ryan and I quickly brainstormed what we could do. I quickly jumped on the SGA computer and began to call various Starbucks in the area to see if they had carafe’s available to fill with regular and decaf. I spoke with Andrea at the location on Yamato road and she even took the opportunity to check with her manager to see if they could donate it to us. They were kind enough to let us know what we can do next time to get it donated. The Starbucks on Military had two full carafes that we were able to pick up at 2:50pm.
…okay, its time to go…we only have 1 hour to pick up the coffee and go to Costco and get a selection of desserts…see you at 3pm in the Perper Plaza.
