Tampa Bay fans demonstrated high levels of enthusiasm and excitement as the game last night rolled into the seventh inning and Red Sox fans were down 7-0. As a member of Red Sox Nation, you know the game isn’t over until the umpire says it’s over. The determination and high spirits of the players and fans in Fenway Park is contagious and overpowering. Last night’s game will go down in history of post season games played. J.D. Drew line drive that went right over Gabe Gross’s head got some numbers on the board and that was just the beginning of the Red Sox come back. Next game is in Tampa Bay on Saturday night. Although I may have a ticket to Halloween Horror nights, I will leave the park to catch some innings in City Walk. Passion for baseball, passion for my home, passion for the Red Sox.

A pride for a team is hard to describe, especially to those who are not as passionate about football like myself. As most of my friends know, It was a challenge to watch the game tonight. The night began with Comcast not working. I walked into Sa’s apartment frantically after Mike and Rich had called me saying that there was no cable on campus. My first thought was that the campus cable had some issues, but when I turned on our TV and it wasn’t working I was beginning to get nervous. Sa commented with no hesitation, “Well, there is always the radio.” I really couldn’t respond without getting frustrated because the radio and television do not relate whatsoever. However, I did understand her alternative choice. Eventually the cable kicked in and we were able to see Jordan Sparks perform the National Anthem, which was unbelievable. At such a young age, a performer like herself has a future Â

From my perspective neither team played outstanding. There were good plays here and there, but nothing amazing. The Patriots loss is dwelling on me, but soon it will be time to move on. It is important to remember that the Patriots have the most touchdowns and points in history. Someone made a remark to me, ” Your team is a failure,” and I will never see that statement as a true statement. Brady commented, “Tonight doesn’t take away from anything we have done over the course of the season,” and that is true.

I really thought the need to share this YouTube video. As most of you know I am an avid Patriots fan and I am really looking forward to the Super Bowl XXXXII in Arizona against the NY Giants. It is interesting to see the take that the media is engaging and broadcasting in regards to the potential injury that Brady may have. His possible absence at practice and walking around town in a boot is creating more buzz to the media than to the Giants.

The Giants see this as a scandal to deceive them of the what to expect on February 3rd. I have no doubts in my mind that Brady will be playing in the Super Bowl, and his performance will not be encumbered. Brady is ranked as the #1 Quarterback in the NFL and maybe even HISTORY. No one “always” has a perfect game, but Brady for sure is a unique gem to the New England Patriots. Together as a team I hope to see them accomplish a 19-0 record.Â

Lynette, Armando, and Megan really wanted me to come out, but I didn’t have a costume. Lynette was being a baseball player so I figured I would be one too.

After putting on my baseball pants and walking around for no more than 5 minutes I realized I could not do it. They were TIGHT as possible. After debating on what to wear I gave up and went with casual jeans and a t-shirt.

I think you would have advised the same if you saw me in the baseball pants. I really wanted to sport the Red Sox Jersey, but the pants weren’t doing it…

It was no surprise to see Mike Lowell get MVP. Lynette’s brother Papu picked me all the way off the ground. I could practically touch the ceiling. Everyone was so excited. My friends and family from home were calling my cell phone left and right. They knew how much this meant to me. Not to mention the Patriots kick the Redskins 52-7.

What works to get rid of laryngitis? I really screamed and yelled too much last night, but nothing means so much to me as the Patriots and the Red Sox. I love the feeling of being at a Patriots game. The energy, the enthusiasm, spirit, and soul of Patriots fans in the stadium were unbelievable. Besides the ranting and raving for the Pats, New England was chanting “Go Red Sox”. We feel united as a whole. We are a community unlike no other. I have no shame loosing my voice. I was in my element. It frustrates me when others characterize me as “taunting” or “being an ass”, but I am truly just an individual with a passion for the New England Patriots and the Red Sox. I need to find something to get rid of this laryngitis before the SGA reception, but I don’t think I am going to find something.

My heart is pounding faster than ever. I just got yelled at by another RA, Lynette, after I ran down the hallway ecstatic over the Red Sox victory in game 7. Her exact words, “You are not exactly helping the situation.” I did feel bad for a moment, but I truly the levels of adrenaline rush that each of my residents’ were facing. Red Sox came back from a 3-1 count to win the series against the Cleveland Indians. People were going crazy. The screaming, the body crashing, the spirit, the energy, and the enthusiasm for the Red Sox victory was unbelievable. I will apologize to Lynette in the morning. I spoke to my residents to quiet down as they exhaust their energy…I don’t think I can truly explain to you the feeling I have right now for this experience. It’s indescribable.

Patriots up 14-0 and the Dolphins think they have a chance at coming back. Dolphins score a touch down to make it 14-7. The few DolFANS that were in the crowds went wild only to be disappointed to see a kick off return from the Patriots to make the score 21-7.

The entire stadium was full of New England fans, about 80%. The blue and white colors were prominent throughout the stadium with minimal orange. Right when I got there I ended up getting a Papa John’s pizza. As I set it on the counter eating my second slice, the wind took it away and landed it on the ground. I was so hungry, but lucking Alyssa and Hattie had gotten Nachos.

I used to work for Dolphin Stadium last year as a Guest Services Representative. Brandon and Cynthia still worked there so I walked around the stadium to find them. Brady and Moss were playing an unbelievable game. I was beginning to loose my voice from screaming.

The Patriots and Red Sox mean so much to me. Growing up in Massachusetts my entire life, it has been a tradition. Going to Fenway Park and Gillette Stadium brings a feeling of true fans, high morale, and tailgating. It is an experience like no other.

The score at the end of the game really showed how well the Patriots play, 49-28. I won a $10 bet, but the suspense was not over…Red Sox get ready for game 7 tonight at Fenway Park…this game makes me more nervous than other…we will see what happens…
