New to Knighthood

It’s been a great run!

Hello dear readers,

I am sad to report this will be my last blog for Lynn University before my blog gets archived. It has been wonderful bloggin for Lynn these last couple of years and I must say it has been a good experience. I first saw the Lynn Blogs when I looked into applying to Lynn during my senior year of high school. Actually, it was Morgan’s blog that caught my eye since she had blogged about being a freshman and gave advice to the incoming freshmen. I loved to write so I thought it would be a great way for me to interact with the Lynn community if I were to get in.

Obviously, I got accepted and immediately applied to become a blogger. I’m so happy I did. I’ve met some great people who also blog, I got to express how I felt about certain topics going around campus, speak about events going on and even share my experience while studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland. The last two and a half years has treated me well.

Some of you may be wondering why am I ending my blog now, right in the middle of the school year. Well, I was accepted into Lynn’s 3.0 program which allowed me to graduate in 3 years. I believe I surpassed Lynn’s goal because I finished my B.A. in a mere 2 and a half years! I may have set a record… :)

I worked very hard to achieve this by taking summer courses and then 6 courses over the last 3 semesters. It’s been worth it in the long run. Now as I sit here writing this up, I am missing my friend back at Lynn. I visited the campus over the weekend and had a great time seeing everyone, but it made me realize I miss being around people and in such a good environment. I will miss being at Lynn, but I am planning on visiting again soon.

You may wonder what my next step is now that I am finished. A lot of people as me “How’s it like to be a graduate?” My answer has been “I miss everyone, but I am moving on.” I am in the process of looking for work. I will now be spending my day looking online and in the newspaper for local jobs. Other than that I may start looking into Graduate school as well.

I will miss blogging, but I am moving forward with my life. I want to thank everyone who has been reading my blogs over the years. I’d also like to thank all my professor who pushed me in the direction I took while at Lynn. I miss you all already, but I know I’ll see everyone again soon.

And finally, to whomever takes my spot as a blogger – good luck! It’s a great experience and way to be truly connected to Lynn University!

Happy blogging everyone! Love you all!!
